PURFLEX MARINE

Purflex Marine is a single component polyurethane sealant and adhesive that has been designed to meet a variety of needs with the marine industry. It has been specifically formulated to overcome the pistoling effects associated with deck caulking at high temperatures. Purflex Marine can be used for deck caulking operations at ambient temperatures up to 50OC.

With excellent seawater resistance, Purflex Marine is ideally suited for sealing decks, hulls, windows and potholes, as well as bedding in removable deck fittings. Purflex Marine is an excellent adhesive suitable, for most marine substrates, such as aluminium, plywood, glass, GRP and wood and can also be used for reducing vibrations.

The material cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a high performance, permanently flexible sealant and adhesive. Skin and cure times are dependent upon humidity and temperature, with increased levels producing faster reaction.

Purflex Marine has been specifically formulated to offer the following characteristics.

Fast Cure
Permanently Rexible
Low Odour
Low Shrinkage
Non Corrosive
Non Staining
Excellent Seawater Resistance

Gold label Anti-fouling

Gold Label can be applied at any time prior to launching. There is no time limit between apllication and launching which allows, if it is more convenient, to anti-foul in the Autumn and launch the boat the following Spring. Gold label is not active until fully immersed in water, so during haul out periods or prior to launching, the anti-fouling chemistry is completely inactive.

Gold labelis 100% tin free, self-polishing, multi-season anti-fouling. The more you apply the longer it lasts. There is no build upof inactive anti-foul with Gold label - as long as there is a layer on the hull, then it will be an active layer, assisting performance and providing totl anti-fouling protection.
